The Set The Seeds Free Project aims to disperse the Urban Meadows project to other cities in the UK and around the globe. Set the Seeds Free was launched at our forum Wildflowers, Bees, Butterflies & Us held at Middlesex University on Thursday 2 December 2010.
River of Flowers has joined with other campaigns in the UK to help save our vanishing pollinators by planting wildflower meadows.
Set the Seeds Free also aims to inform and advance education on wildflowers and the role of wildflowers in the urban environment and cultural context. River of Flowers is developing a pack for teachers showing them how wildflowers and their pollinators can be used to teach subjects including Mathematics, Poetry, Art and Science.
River of Flowers workshops on ‘Planting Mini Meadows' or 'Making Bee and Bug Hotels' are available for a small donation to River of Flowers – see Book a Workshop for details.
