Living Under One Sun Community Allotments

Living Under One Sun, a food growing community organisation based in Tottenham, is one of River of Flowers partner organisations. Living Under One Sun has planted a spectacular range of medicinal and edible wildflowers. Their aim is to enable all sections of the community to experience the joys of growing and cultivating their own food in an organic and sustainable way, whilst also providing opportunities for the development of community cohesion. Living Under One Sun has recently won a People's Millions awards for their porject Blooming Beds and Bees in which they intend to plant even more wildflowers.

Last year, LUOS provided three 10 weeks community food growing training, inspiring and supporting several new community and schools gardening projects. Having installed a beehive, LUOS ran their first Bee keeping course and has led 10 herbal medicine workshops and walks, and further developed the medicinal and kitchen remedies plots.
