Flora locale was established in 1997 and is a registered charity which aims to promote good practice in the use and sourcing of British and Irish wild flora for all projects in those countries that have wildlife in mind. The emphasis of its work is to encourage good practice among suppliers, land managers and plant specifiers involved in large-scale habitat creation and restoration projects. This year for the first time Flora locale is working with The Millennium Seed Bank (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew) and the Weald Meadows Initiative in the Training & Events programme. Flora locale continues to collaborate successfully with the Grazing Advice Partnership (GAP) and the Small Woods Association.Contact Claire McCorquodale or Ivy Berkshire: t: 01672 515723 e: info@floralocale.org
