About our river

The San Francisco Bay Area, with its year-round warm and moist climate, might arguably be the epicenter of the locavore movement in the States. There is a lot of rooftop growing and some of the best street tree plantings and sidewalk gardens around guided and supported by the Friends of the Urban Forest.
